Loot Rules
Primarily, we use a ThatsMyBIS Priority loot system in 25 man runs. Generally speaking though, loot outside of this runs through our "Don't Be a Dick Loot System". This loot system also happens with the TMB priority system for OS or non-prioritized MS gear.
PuG runs that are lead by the guild are generally MS>OS with Greens, Legendaries + Crafting Materials on Reserve.
ThatsMyBIS Rules
- All raiders will provide the officer team with a filled out list of the gear they want.
- All raiders will order their loot in the priority they want their items in.
- When gear drops, the person with the highest self-assigned priority will receive the item.
- Certain items, like quests, mounts, and legendaries, maybe be hard reserved prioritized.
- Once lists are submitted, no modifications can be made.
- Trial Raiders are excluded from ThatsMyBIS.
- Trials can roll on gear that isn't prioritized.
- When promoted after their first week, they will fill out a list and submit to officers.
- Less than 70% attendance in a 6-week period will result in a -1 to all priorities on your TMB list.
- Mounts require perfect attendance in a 6-week period to be allowed to roll.
Don't Be a Dick Loot System
Even though not everyone acts like it all the time, we're all adults here and should understand that spreading loot around makes for a much more enjoyable WoW experience - nobody likes a loot whore.
- There are three "Roll Types":
- Main Spec (100)
- Main Spec (Sidegrade) (99)
- Off Spec (95)
- Each week, every raid member will fill out a "Soft Reserve Sheet" via SoftRes.it.
- Everyone gets Two (2) Soft Reserves.
- Soft Reserves get priority on their items. Otherwise, its Main Spec > Main Spec Sidegrade > Off Spec
- Consider armor type. Early on in a raid tier, armor should generally go to the class it is intended for rather than pure BIS.
- Example: A Holy Paladin should look for Spell Plate, instead of Cloth.
- Example: Rogues can only wear Leather, Hunters and Warriors have other loot available.
- By following armor types, we have a better chance of getting the most upgrades possible across as many people.
- Not your Best in Slot? You should probably pass for a BiS roll.
- Most importantly, Don't Be A Dick! Win non-sr gear already tonight? Let someone else get some gear too.
Just, don't be a dick about loot.
PuG Loot System
Unless otherwise specified in a PuG raid run, the following rules apply to loot:
- A Main Spec roll will win over an Off Spec roll.
- Crafting Materials that drop will be Master Looted to the Guild.
- Bosses that can be looted via a profession are reserved for Guild use.
- Uncommons and Rares that drop will be Master Looted to the Guild.
- Epics that are disenchanted remain property of the Guild.
- Bind on Equip Epics are always reserved.
- Legendaries are always reserved.
We use Gargul to determine the winner of a roll.
- Main Spec? Type /roll after the prompt.
- Off Spec? Type /roll 95 after the prompt.
